Measuring Materials
Magnetic Induction (Fe): Measuring the thickness of Non-magnetic coating on magnetic metal substrate, such as aluminum, chromium, copper, zinc, rubber, paint on the base of steel, iron, alloy and magnetic steel.
Eddy Current (NFe): Measuring the thickness of Non-conductive coating on non-magnetic metal substrate, such as rubber, plastic, paint, oxide on the base of aluminum, copper, zinc, tin.

Measuring Principle
1. Measuring Non-magnetic coatings on magnetic substrates (such as aluminum, chromium, copper, rubber coatings on steel, iron, alloy and hard magnetic steel substrates).
When the probe contact with cover, measuring probe and magnetic metal matrix form a closed magnetic circuit, as a result of the existence of a non-magnetic layer, make the magnetic circuit magnetic resistance change, can be derived by measuring the change the thickness of coating.
2. The instrument adopts eddy current thickness measurement method (NFe Probe):
Measure non-conductive coating on non-magnetic metals substrate (such as paint coatings on enamel, plastic, rubber, copper, aluminum, zinc, tin substrates).
The electromagnetic field is generated by using high-frequency alternating current in the coil. When the probe contacts the cover, an eddy current in the metal substrate is generated and fed back to the coil in the probe, which is obtained by measuring the feedback effect of the coating thickness.
