When needed, users can clean the outer surface of the ultrasonic flaw detector, that is, the casing, interface periphery and screen. The following describes the correct cleaning steps for ultrasonic flaw detectors.
1. Please ensure that the instrument is turned off and disconnected from the power cord.
2. Disconnect the connector from the cable box, and the external port of the ultrasonic flaw detector has been tightly covered with a rubber protective cover.
3. Please ensure that all openable hatches are closed.
4. Close the cover on the network connection interface.
5. Please close the battery compartment cover correctly.
6. To restore the original luster of the instrument case, wipe the case with a soft cloth.
7. For dirt, use a damp cloth dipped in soft soapy water to clean. Never use rough cleaning tools or decontamination solvents to avoid damaging the surface of the case.
8. After removing the interface protective cover, make sure each interface is dry before connecting cables. If the interface is not dry, please dry it with a dry soft cloth or let it dry naturally.
9. Screen cleaning. Never use rough cleaning tools or decontamination solvents to clean the ultrasonic flaw detector screen. Wipe the screen with a damp cloth dampened with evaporable standard glass cleaning fluid. If necessary, use a soft-bristled brush to brush away any remaining paper scraps. Never spray liquid directly around the interface. Liquid may leak into cracks or flow from the casing into the interior, damaging the circuitry.
