1. Turn on the power of Vickers hardness tester, adjust the strength according to the type of sample. The brightness, pressure time, and unit can also be set, but generally do not need to be set.
2. Place the sample and adjust the height of the sample stage. Place the sample on the sample stage, rotate the lens, and observe the sample to determine the location of maximum hardness again, and adjust so that the surface of the sample can be seen. The lifting platform can be rotated and adjusted.
3. Rotate the indenter so that it is directly above the sample, and ensure that it is stuck in place and aligned. Press the start button, "Dewell, Unload" and the numbers "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1" will be displayed during the process. When the uninstallation is completed, there will be a "didi beep" sound. .
4. Automatic unloading force. At this time, the indentation must be observed. Rotate it so that it is aligned with the indentation. There are two lines inside the lens to capture the diagonal lines of the main indentation.
5. Read the scale display d1, enter it on the panel, and confirm it. Rotate the clamping line, rotate 90°, and snap it to the diagonal line of the indentation. Read the scale display d2, enter it on the panel, and confirm it. After confirmation, the hardness value will be automatically displayed.
